Quick Count

Indonesia Tribune  The controversy of  "Quick Count" (QC) in Indonesia suspected have potential to fault by authoritative watcher such malformation in motivation, methodology, and appreciation

The suspicion statement said by the expert in statistic science from Bogor Farming Institute  (IPB) Prof Dr Ir Khairil Anwar Notodipuro, MS to Antara in Bogor, Friday, the statement issued respect to the latest news  about quick count from few of independence survey associations of Indonesia 2009 Legislative Election

He said that as a methodology, prediction or election results quick count has academic legitimated and scientific responsibility. Method and technique that used for quick count basic is very expert and could be reliable it’s results.
According that, he continue in country who have higher culture and science technology and their people have enough human resources and already knew what is statistic not only knew alphabetic, quick count used as trusted barometer  to predict the result of election.

Nevertheless, to apply it in Indonesia he see there are too many potent to create malformation, at least three fault of these: Motivation, Methodology, and Appreciation.

Obviously after tired in continuously campaign he want the big smile after election. But temporary result indicate that his Party / Gerindra is not at top five. Then will his energy exhausted in vain? We knew the LSI survey before Indonesian election is not good for Gerindra. Gerindra Party is in 9th position at survey pre election.

Open Campaign does not affect Indonesia Election

The last survey is not far from prediction before Campaign
Jakarta, Open campaign time that shown by "show of force" general meeting and Politic Parties ads at public media end yesterday, for three days on wards, people granted peace time for considering to choose the suit candidates. I’ve ever read some Arabian joke. In Saudi Arabia, the parliament member was not chosen by people, but the prerequisite educational strata for admission is Doctoral. Meanwhile in Indonesia, the council chosen by people, quality is not important, the most important is money. You may just dream to be a legislative member if you don’t have money and power, although you’re a brilliant scholar.
